Welcome to MJBTraining and Consultancy

MJBTraining was founded by Mike Betts, a Registered member and a former Chairman of National Back Exchange. Mike has 15 years of experience in moving and handling and has worked for Greenwich HealthCare NHS Trust as Moving and Handling Co-coordinator and the Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Mike has been a qualified nurse for the last 22 years and has gained an MSc in Back Care Management at Loughborough university. He is the author of numerous articles and publications including:

  • Handling and Hazards Nursing Standard 2003.
  • Moving and Handling During Emergencies - A Response The Column 2003.
  • Co-Author The Falling and Fallen Person and Emergency Handling, 5th Edition - The Guide To The Handling Of People. February 2005.
