Welcome to MJBTraining and Consultancy

MJBTraining was founded by Mike Betts, a Registered member and Chairman of National Back Exchange. Mike has 13 years of experience in moving and handling and has worked for Greenwich HealthCare NHS Trust as Moving and Handling Co-coordinator and the Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Mike is an experienced Registered General Nurse, (qualified 20 years) and has gained an MSc in Back Care Management at Loughborough University. He is the author of numerous articles and publications including:

  • Handling and Hazards Nursing Standard 2003.
  • Moving and Handling During Emergencies - A Response The Column 2003.
  • Co-Author The Falling and Fallen Person and Emergency Handling, 5th Edition - The Guide To The Handling Of People. February 2005.

Mike has also spoken at several conferences and presentations, both in this country and Australia.
